Laser Hair Removal

01 / The treatment

How Laser Hair
Removal Works

Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. This energy damages the follicle and helps reduce future hair growth without harming the surrounding skin. The POLYLASE™ AL uses advanced 755 nm Alexandrite technology to precisely target unwanted hair, including fine and lighter hair, on different areas of the face and body.

Laser Hair Removal
Treatment Care

Knowing what to do before and after treatment helps your skin recover comfortably and supports the best possible result.

Pre-Treatment

  • Reduce UV exposure as much as possible 4 weeks before your procedure.
  • Avoid plucking or waxing the treatment areas, as the laser needs to find the hair follicle to target it.
  • Shave the day before your session with a clean new razor to avoid bacteria entering the treatment areas.
  • Inform our laser professionals of all your medications, as they may impact your procedure.
  • Avoid tanning products or procedures for at least 2 to 3 weeks before your treatment.

Post-Treatment

  • Talk to our laser professionals if any new symptoms appear so that we can find a solution.
  • Mild erythema in the treated area is normal and should subside within the next few hours.
  • Be gentle with your skin and refrain from scratching the targeted area, as this can cause a rash.
  • Use sunblock SPF 30+ at all times to protect the skin from UV rays.
